Restaurant with coffee and cake and lunch and dinner. Parking spaces are only available on the adjacent site, but free of charge. The route to the site is on a somewhat dilapidated road. A small selection of cakes, but homemade. The coffee also tastes good and that's why I like to come over more often.

The food, especially roast wild boar, sauerbraten and ox meat with horseradish sauce, was praised by all of our group. The service was very friendly and attentive. We are happy to recommend you to the Nuremberg Circle of Friends.

The two of us had lunch there. Both dishes were very good, but far too filling. Half would have been enough.

There was very tasty apple pie. And whatever else was served, I can only say that it was eaten with appetite. It is a restaurant in the cross of hiking trails. And right at the top. There are also castle ruins and a devil's table. Very versatile, including the Waldsteine.

Thank you that we were able to stop for lunch on "Enrollment Tuesday", even though I've had school enrollment for more than 70 years. Lunch was quite outstanding both the ox breast and the trout. Due to the really large portions, I will only order a small portion in the future as a “late starter”. The service was very friendly. We will definitely come back again. In sunny weather it was a wonderful stay under the trees in the beer garden on the Waldstein.

The best and biggest dumplings we've eaten in a long time. The meat was great and tender as butter and there was plenty of sauce for frying. The wait staff are on the ball and are always there when necessary. We come here more often now.

Very large and tasty portions. We had a Kinder Schnitzel, a Hawaii Schnitzel, and a Cheese Schnitzel. We didn't manage everything, the portions are that big. We've packed the rest for tonight. We got water for the bottle for our baby. We like to come back here🙂

The food was very, very good and plentiful. The wait was a bit long, but that was compensated for by the really delicious food. We were all thrilled. There was also something for vegetarians and for the dogs there was a water bowl right from the start

Visiting on Saturday, walking on the beautiful circular route from Sparneck. Despite the good number of guests, the dishes were at the table in just over 20 minutes. Very tasty and sufficient portions. The staff was friendly and accommodating. No complaints ..., plus the beautiful location in the middle of the nature of our Franconia. We look forward to coming back in the future.
